Welcome to Literature Lounge

I'm a poet, programmer, and a person trying on many hats. I spend most of my time working on poetry, but I also write essays and prose. Re-tellings of old stories and remembrance are among my favourite themes to mess with, but I mostly commit to making any earnest experience communicable through poetry. As a programmer, I'm exploring data analysis and visualisation. Archiving (particularly digital archiving) is a subject of interest at the moment.

More generally, Literature Lounge is a space for sharing my work, both developing projects and complete pieces. I have found it difficult to navigate internet spaces and social media, while also balancing the desires for anonymity and openness. The mercurial nature of the platform-centric model made me uncomfortable. But, through this discomfort, I was motivated to figure out how to create, contribute, and collaborate in a fulfilling way, however long it takes.

With all that, Literature Lounge is an exciting and personal project, and I hope you enjoy what you read.
